1.What electives do you teach? Mrs. Matthews: I teach college courses for North Country Community College here at Westport, portfolio projects, and major sequence portfolios. 2.What's something interesting about each elective? Mrs. Matthews: Projects the students come up with such as, "A prom dress out of duck tape and student portfolios." 3.Do you think electives are important to have? Why? Mrs. Matthews: Yes, they offer the student a much broader education, more options to choose from, and a an overall more rounded education.
