Interview with Teacher
What are you teaching the first
graders this week?
In math we're learning prism shapes, you
know rectangles and things like that... geometry. We're also reading
a whole new unit called our neighborhood at work. And we're doing
theme folders for December. We do them every month.
Are they doing well?
We actually just started, but they are very
interested in the new units.
Are they enjoying it?
When we did the Halloween theme folder it was
so much fun, they loved them. The September folder also kept them
busy.
Do they have any projects going on
for the holidays?
The only project we're doing is writing
letters to Santa.
Do you guys have anything that you do
every week?
We do Leader of the Week, who can do leader
jobs. We unfortunately no longer have Student of the Week.
