Beagles Kept on Leash
Chazy-
Freshmen pitcher Nathan Reynolds proved too much for the
Beagles on Wednesday. Reynolds found himself locked in a
pitcher’s duel with Westport’s Kevin Russell, for the first
3 innings. Russell did all he could to match Reynolds dominating performance, but in the 4th inning
Chazy capitalized on a couple errors to break a one all tie.
Chazy lead 3-1 into the 5th inning where they
finished the scoring for the day by picking up one insurance
run. Dylan Boyle had a hit for the Beagles and scored the
teams only run. Westport/Keene will play next on Friday at
Johnsburg in a nonleague matchup.
