Mrs. Wolinsky: Women Writers and I co-teach College Preparation with Mr. Facteau.

 Mrs. Brankman: Sociology

2.Whats something interesting about each electives?

Mrs. Wolinsky: College Prep really gets kids motivated to proceed with college application process, and time that's given in class is highly beneficial.

Women Writers is a unique class that isn't offered in most schools. It focuses primarily on writers who are women and how women are portrayed in today's society. The class is meant to provide a new perspective on changes that women have gone through in history, in addition to preparing students for similar classes in college.

Mrs. Brankman: This class allows students to learn about group dynamics and how groups function in our culture and society. We also study other cultures and how groups function in societies we are not familiar with.

3. Do you think electives are important to have? Why?

Mrs. Brankman: Electives definitely are a positive for our school curriculum. They allow students to take courses that they are interested in and find out about interests they did not know they even had.

Mrs. Wolinsky: Absolutely, electives are important because they provide students with a lot more opportunity. I feel  it makes our school special and well rounded. I feel electives are hugely beneficial to students.
