Video Production
Video Production meets every day for a half year. Video Production is a course designed to help your student understand the process of producing a video for a purpose (i.e. short film, advertisement, news broadcast, public service announcement, or music video.). Students will learn the basic operations of a camera and video production software, they will become familiar with the three phases of the production process, and they will be introduced to the television industry. The course is a hands-on laboratory environment with a focus on project work. The students will have an opportunity to demonstrate the skills and knowledge they gain from the class through completing several themed projects
Video Production 2
Video Production 2 meets every day for a half year. Video Production2 is a continuation of Video Production. The course is designed to help your student understand the process of producing a video for a purpose (i.e. short film, advertisement, news broadcast, public service announcement, or music video.). Students will learn Adobe Primiere, Adobe Audition, and Adobe After Effects as they utilize the Adobe Creative Cloud suite. The course is a hands-on laboratory environment with a focus on project work. The students will have an opportunity to demonstrate the skills and knowledge they gain from the class through completing several themed projects

Overall grade is comprised of the following:
- 50% Quarter 1
- 50% Quarter 2
Quarterly Grade Breakdown:
- 40% Class Participation
- 60% Project
Class Participation Breakdown:
The student will have a daily opportunity to self-evaluate the following areas of interest:
- Attendance
- On time for class
- Preparedness for class
- Work ethic during class
- Attitude toward assigned project and classmates
- Attentiveness and participation during class
- Cooperation with teacher
